About Dr.Pandit

Private Doctor West Midlands & Birmingham

17 Years of Excellence, Now Focused on You

I am the founder and Medical Director of Private Doctor West Midlands. I started my GP training in the South Birmingham and as part of my various rotations worked at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital,Birmingham Women’s Hospital,Selly Oak Hospital and the Birmingham Children’s hospital until 2008.

With over 17 years of dedicated experience within the NHS, I have cared for thousands of patients, navigating the full spectrum of general practice with skill, compassion, and professionalism. I believe the single greatest deficiency in modern healthcare is time. I have established this private practice to dedicate that time back to you, the patient.

Health is the greatest gift, contentment the greatest wealth, faithfulness the best relationship.

Let me introduce myself

Meet Dr. Aditi Pandit – Experience You Can Trust

During my hospital jobs, I gained my Diploma in the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Diploma of the Faculty of Reproductive and Sexual Health. I completed my Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners qualification in 2008. Following this, I have trained in and have a certificate of competence for the insertion of Coils and Implants.

As a GP registrar, I developed a special interest in women’s health and gained my certificates in Family planning. This naturally led to progression into Menopause Care.   I have been responsible for women’s health at my NHS practice and performing family planning procedures since 2008.

I have worked full-time or part-time as an NHS GP in Barnt Green, Halesowen, Longbridge, Dudley, Worcester, and as an Out-of-Hours Doctor at the Walk-in Centre in Birmingham, serving very diverse populations.

I put my roots down as a GP Partner in the West Midlands in 2019 and work with a lovely team of people. I have cared for thousands of patients, navigating the full spectrum of general practice with skill, compassion, and professionalism.

This extensive background has provided me with a profound understanding of medical complexities, but more importantly, it has highlighted the single greatest deficiency in modern healthcare: Time. I have established this private practice to dedicate that time back to you, the patient.

My core philosophy is simple: Empowerment Through Understanding. I believe that when patients are given the time to fully articulate their concerns, and when the doctor takes the time to truly listen, the path to diagnosis, treatment, and sustained well-being becomes clear.

I am also involved in medical education and currently teach first and fifth-year medical students and am a fifth-year examiner for the University of Birmingham.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and am currently learning classical dance and music. I try to attend the Friday Karaoke evening with fellow enthusiasts, and we are planning a performance in the near future. I also enjoy cooking traditional meals when time permits.

A Specialist Passion: Female Health, Menopause, and Mental Wellbeing

While I offer comprehensive care across all medical fields, I have cultivated a powerful and dedicated specialist knowledge base in two critical, often interlinked, areas: Female Menopause and Mental Health & Wellbeing.

For too long, women’s health issues, particularly around menopause and perimenopause, have been dismissed or managed with a one-size-fits-all approach. Similarly, mental health concerns require nuance and continuity of care that is rarely possible in a short appointment. I bring a deeply informed and compassionate approach to both of these areas.

Menopause Private Doctor

  •  Menopause is a significant life transition, but with the right guidance, it can also be a time to regain balance, confidence, and well-being.
  • As we get older, we unconsciously spin a lot of different plates at the same time.  The challenges of growing teenagers, ageing parents, seniority at work, and complex life decisions all can prove challenging at the best of times, but when you are experiencing the perimenopause, it can add another completely new layer of fog to our existence.  I believe in moving beyond basic symptom management to create individualised HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy) and non-hormonal strategies that address sleep, mood, bone health, and libido, along with a comprehensive in-depth assessment of your life stage.
  • I offer a Discussion of your symptoms, lifestyle, and health goals with a personalised wellbeing plan tailored to your needs and Follow-up options in person or via online appointments.
  • We recommend an in-person consultation if a clinical examination is required
  • Private GP Consultations for the West Midlands 30 min Online or In Clinic

Well Being Private Doctor

  • Mental Health: Unfortunately, the NHS is overwhelmed and not equipped to deal with the mental health crisis that exists. The waiting times to see a specialist are so long that a lot of issues which should be nipped in the bud fester and lead to affecting people’s lives significantly. The longer the wait, the more it can affect self-confidence, and this can impact decision-making.
  • I have always found myself drawn to mental health complexities, and I have found the most fulfilment after a good mental health consultation. In today’s day and age, people are very aware of mental health challenges, and there are so many resources on social media which can be helpful but also equally overwhelming.  I like to keep things simple. I believe the best approach to this is by compassionate listening and being solution-focused. We may need a few supports to lean on, but the aim is to keep the journey moving in the right direction.  These strategies take time as they should.   I offer a 45-minute appointment to create a safe space to be able to discuss any concerns or worries that may be holding you back.

I aim to offer a supportive space to discuss stress, anxiety, low mood, and burnout. I provide holistic guidance, supportive interventions with some coaching, and expert referral pathways when necessary, always focusing on long-term resilience.

As a General Practitioner, I  use counselling skills, coaching skills and lifestyle medicine every single day, and I would like to offer this holistic approach to my patients at the time they need it the most.
