I have experienced this first hand when you can be very organised but sometimes life just throws a curve ball and you forgot to pick up that prescription or missed an appointment .
Sometimes you are on a holiday and may have not brought enough of medication with you.
Life is busy and sometimes you can run out of medications as its a weekend or bank holiday. I work in collaboration with a couple of online pharmacies who can accept prescriptions online and will deliver them to the patients address usually with in 24 hours if done before 2 pm.
This service is not available for Controlled Drugs as these need a detailed consultation usually with your NHS GP who can safely monitor them.
As a NHS GP I receive a lot of requests for medical certificates. Some of these fall outside the Contractual obligations but that doesn’t make them any less important to the patient.
Private Prescriptions and Medical Certificates West Midlands

You can send me an email, and after filling out an online form with details of the medications, and after a short telephone consultation to clarify any questions that may arise, I can organise the medications for you. If you ever need urgent medications. I use an online pharmacy platform called Cloudrx, and prescriptions can be delivered within 24 hrs to the home address directly, making it easier for the patient. This excludes the cost of the prescription, which is paid to the pharmacy directly. This is not for any controlled drug prescriptions.

Legal capacity assessment: Price depends on the complexity of the report
Capacity assessment becomes very important when matters of LPA ( Lasting Powers of Attorney ) need to be activated. This can be a prolonged process to ensure you can look after your loved one as was planned by them. Depending on the complexity of the report, a home visit can be arranged, or a 1 hr clinic appointment will be needed to assess the capacity of the individual and following on from there, a detailed report is written which can stand up in court if needed. This may be requested by your solicitor before they can work with you on the LPA.
